From the Start

 

Boats International Pty Ltd is a leading luxury motor yacht dealership in Queensland who enjoy an extensive brokerage network both within Queensland and nationally throughout Australia. Established in 2000  as a Marine Brokerage at Sanctuary Cove by John and Julie Rapmund, Boats International has extensive contacts to assist in securing the ideal boat for your personal recreation needs.
 
In 2009, Boats International moved into waterfront corporate offices in Sanctuary Cove, we are renowned for the listing of stock that attracts quality purchases.  An active participant in the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, we have extensive experience across international brands such as Horizon, Riviera, Sunseeker, Sea Ray, Integrity, Campion just name a few and for 5 years held the Australia / New Zealand dealership for Horizon Motor Yachts.  
 
Boats International are fully accredited by Marine Queensland for buying and selling boats plus we can offer Club Marine Insurance as our staff are fully qualified to quote and sell boat insurance. John Rapmund

 

John Rapmund was renowned to the public in and around Sanctuary Cove & to the Marine Industry, he was a warm, caring cheeky character who loved life to the fullest, with a passion for motorsport & known to have a beer or 6, he just had a zest for life.

Sadly on the 13th December on the way home to his family John suffered a severe heart attack which was so unexpected from all.
 
John was the Director of Boats International Pty Ltd, he started the company in 2000 and that was just the start of his growing business, he then secured the Horizon Agency in 2006 becoming the Horizon Motoryacht dealer for Australia and New Zealand.
 
With the company re-banded Horizon Boats International Pty Ltd John made the Horizon name what it is today here in Australia. In 2008 he won the AMIF Imported Non Trailerable Cruiser Award and with a total of 23 Horizon Motoryachts sold, John sold 19 of the 23, you could call him “the salesman’s of all salesmen” all clients ended up becoming friends by the time the sale was completed.
 
John’s Wife Julie, Children Steven, Bianca & Candice with his most loved and precious Grandchildren William & Madison from Bianca & Damien with another Granddaughter from Candice & RJ due mid 2011, this is a small Tribute to their Husband, Father, Poppy and Friend, a true gentleman with such passion for his family, he will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
